A Healer Offers...HOPE!

I love how God serendipitously weaves my many day-to-day assignments with a thread for me to follow/notice--long before I get to that day!

Knowing we would finish our series with the mandate of becoming Healthy American Women who see themselves as Healers, I wanted to make this last month as inspirational as possible.

We begin with HOPE.  A healer offers HOPE.  Over five years ago, I wrote Sacred Obsession Devotional.  Today's message (11/28) is titled "Your Hope."  Amazingly a portion of the reading describes how we can give hope to others by giving them God.

"To know that God is your friend--that He cares, sees, and knows...can make the worst day manageable."

"To know God loves you just the way you are when you don't deserve it, when you've surpassed 'seventy times seven'...allows you to sleep at night."

"To know that God offers you protection, whether it is unseen or visible...gives you courage to rise above your fears."

"To know that God can give you hope, real emotional relief in stressful situations...is priceless if your life is consumed with unrelenting stressful situations."

"You can know God better by reading His Word. His Word is your greatest source of hope."

When you give others (family, friends, coworkers, strangers) the Source of hope, you give them all they need!

Be encouraged,

Becky

  4. right now, I am relying on this:

"You can know God better by reading His Word. His Word is your greatest source of hope."

trying to focus on Him through an awful lot of turmoil lately, both in my home and friend's homes (and businesses). I think I am going to pray the Psalms for my own dose of Hope, and then pray them for others.
